Request account & data deletion.
To delete your Until Tomorrow account and its associated data, email hello@tomorroweditions.com. You can send a request without installing the app or signing in.
Or write to hello@tomorroweditions.com with the subject “Until Tomorrow account and data deletion request”.
Request in the app
In Until Tomorrow, open Settings, then Your account, and choose Request account and data deletion. This also works without a linked Google or Apple account. Linked accounts require sign-in confirmation. We process requests manually, normally within one month. You can check completion in the app using the deletion reference, without signing back into the old account. No email or call is required to complete an in-app request.
Submitting the request blocks further account sync and notification sends. The app clears that reader’s local data on the requesting device and signs out. Keep your deletion reference private.
What to include
Tell us you want to delete your account and include the email address you used to back it up with Google or Apple. If you used Apple’s Hide My Email, include that account’s relay address if you have it. Never send your password or a sign-in code.
If you used the app without linking Google or Apple, tell us that in your message. We will explain what information may help us locate your data. You do not need to reinstall the app to ask.
What happens next
We will reply to verify account ownership and give you an expected completion date, normally within one month. Once verified, we will delete the account and associated data we hold, then confirm completion by email. You can reply to the same email thread to ask about progress.
What is deleted
- Your Until Tomorrow sign-in account and linked account details.
- Your stored profile, reading preferences and reading history.
- Your saved digest copies and highlights stored with the account.
- Your device notification registrations and notification records.
Account deletion is permanent. It does not delete your Google or Apple account, or the public diary archive.
Purchases and data on your device
The Reader Pass is currently a one-time purchase. Deletion does not automatically refund a purchase or erase Apple’s or Google’s own transaction records. If a subscription is offered in future, cancel it separately through the relevant store to stop recurring billing. We arrange deletion of associated RevenueCat records and any identifiable analytics records.
Downloads and other copies still stored on your devices are separate from your account data. Clear the app’s storage or delete the app to remove those local copies.
We retain a restricted deletion marker to stop stale sessions recreating deleted records, and a status receipt with a random reference. The privacy policy explains this and other retention limits. If any particular records must be retained to meet a legal requirement, we will explain which records, why, and for how long when we respond to your request.
