Went with my cousin Tuke (afterward Sir Samuel), to see the fountains of St. Cloud and Ruel; and, after dinner, to talk with the poor ignorant and superstitious anchorite at Mount Calvary, and so to Paris.

Came Mr. William Coventry (afterward Sir William) and the Duke's secretary, etc., to visit me.
